Working With SV Media

Professional work. Continuing responsibility.

Some businesses need a website built properly and professionally maintained. Others need more active help with visibility, content or digital acquisition. SV Media can take on the work that fits the business; you do not need to choose a level before we talk.

Ongoing relationships

Different levels of responsibility.

Build it well. Keep it working. Each level includes professional oversight of the website; the difference is how much of the surrounding work SV Media takes on.

Managed Website

SV Media takes professional responsibility for the website.

$499/month

$500 one-time onboarding

  • Website development or substantial improvement where appropriate under an annual relationship
  • Managed hosting, infrastructure, security fundamentals and technical upkeep
  • Reasonable updates, forms, analytics and search-ready foundations

Managed Presence

SV Media manages the website and the broader ongoing digital presence.

$500 one-time onboarding

  • Search and local-visibility work, including business-profile attention where appropriate
  • Content and social coordination, with proactive recommendations

Managed Growth

SV Media takes a more active role in marketing, customer acquisition and improving what works online.

$1,199/month

$750 one-time onboarding

  • The managed digital foundation, with more frequent review and adjustment
  • Campaign planning, landing pages and advertising management
  • More active content, conversion improvement and measurement

Each level reflects how much of your online presence SV Media takes responsibility for. Onboarding covers the practical work required to establish and configure the relationship.

Website development

A build does not have to end at launch.

For many small and medium-sized businesses, standard website development or a substantial rebuild can be included in an annual managed relationship. SV Media then remains responsible for keeping the site current, secure and useful after launch.

On a shorter engagement, we generally work with the existing website, or quote new development separately. One-time website work is available where appropriate and quoted separately. Unusually large or complex builds also need their own scope.

Already have a website?

Keep what works. Improve what does not.

SV Media will not recommend rebuilding a sound website simply to create a new project. If the current site is technically sound and appropriate for the business, we can manage and improve it. If it is fundamentally deficient, we will explain why a rebuild makes more sense.

Already have hosting? We can review whether the current arrangement supports dependable ongoing management. Moving it is not automatic.

Separate scope where needed

Some work needs its own plan.

The managed relationship covers agreed ongoing work. Larger or specialized needs are discussed before they become commitments.

Advertising media spend is separate from management.

High-volume content or major professional photography and video may be separate.

Advanced e-commerce, custom software, complex integrations and unusually large migrations require separate scope.

Major one-time initiatives can be quoted separately.

Practical questions

Start with the business, not a service menu.

Do I need to know which level I need?
No. Tell us about the business, the current website and what needs attention. We can recommend a sensible starting point.
Can you work on just one piece of work?
Yes, where it makes sense. One-time work is quoted separately from an ongoing managed relationship.
Can SV Media handle more complex work?
Yes. The portfolio includes corporate, technical and venture properties. Work beyond the standard managed scope is evaluated and quoted for its actual requirements.

A useful first conversation

Tell us about the business and what needs attention.

Share the current website if you have one. SV Media will help determine the appropriate starting point.
